WHO WE ARE

LITCHQUOR LTD is a dynamic Mauritian company which specialises in the development of premium spirits. All products are produced in small batches with distillates from sugar cane harvested on the fertile volcanic grounds around the island of Mauritius.

Not attached to any of the distilleries, the company independently uses the best Rums from all around the island and creates outstanding products which represent the entirety of Mauritius and its many facets.

OUR MASTER BLENDER

Meet Frederic Bestel, our renowned master blender with 20+ years of experience. Known for his innovative approach, Frederic crafts distinctive premium spirits with his unique “signature” touch.

As a Master Blender, Frederic’s role is to develop unique tastes. Every bottle is blended under his close supervision, starting with the careful selection of aged and unaged rums, ensuring exceptional quality and flavours.

OUR HERITAGE

The Bestel family settled in Mauritius around 1870. Originally from Sedan in the French Ardennes-Champagne region, the production of fine liqueurs is part of the family DNA.

Following the footsteps of his father, who ran a small business of distilled sugar cane spirits and liqueurs, Frederic embarked on his own journey. He first created his own Lychee Liqueur, and later went on to establish Litchquor Ltd in 2012.

All our rums are produced in Mauritius, known for its rich history in rum-making. Embracing a longstanding tradition, we craft exceptional spirits that capture the essence of this remarkable island.
